About Us

Pebbles & Kale started out as a hobby (mainly to distract from lockdown after lockdown after lockdown), but that little hobby slowly grew to be more serious and started to take over pretty much any space available to me. 

The website officially launched in October 2022.

I (Melanie!) am currently a one-woman band when it comes to the candle making, but have pulled in my wonderful friends and family to help with just about everything else. The candles I make now look very different to the first few I made, with the Irish words/phrases coming as a bit of an 'Aha!' moment one night while experimenting with soy wax.

All our candles are unscented and made from a 100% natural soy wax blend. They are each handmade in Dublin, meaning they are all unique and may have a few imperfections or variations.

As for the name, probably the most asked question, my middle name is Pebbles (yes, really) and my oldest sister's name is Caelen. Put us together, we are Pebbles and Kale!
